Being a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, my preferred accounting platform is QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks Online is the leading industry platform for business owners. It can handle 100% of accounting needs and allows integration with a vast variety of apps (expense reporting, time tracking, online bill pay, payroll, etc.) which allow for a more efficient accounting system. This in turn increases accuracy and saves an exponential amount of time and money. Although I prefer QuickBooks Online, I also work with clients using QuickBooks Desktop.
